Carnival 2009 - Alice in Wonderland

Ryde East are now well in to planning for Carnival 2009. There’s nothing better on a cold winters night to be cheered by the bright colours and sounds of summertime, and that’s why, Ryde East Community have scheduled in Carnival workshops throughout the winter in preparation for next years entry.

These workshops are open to everyone. Oakfield School and Ryde East’s Community Centre, The Park Centre, are joining forces to make next year’s entry bigger and brighter than before!

So if you’re interested in carnival, why not come along? We’re looking for all kinds of people. From those who don’t mind getting their hands mucky with papier mache, to dressmakers, to painters and performers – or even if you just fancy coming along to support us…feel free!
