Stay Connected for Loneliness Awareness Week
Loneliness Awareness Week runs from 15 to 21 June and is an annual initiative led by Marmalade Trust, shining a light on the importance of connection, community and simple acts of kindness.
To mark the week, we’re inviting local people to join us on Tuesday 16th June from 2pm to 4pm for an afternoon of cuppas, cake, conversation and creativity.
The session will feature our wonderful community crafting champion Hannah Llewellyn and her brilliant stone painting workshop, inspired by the theme of love and connection. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just fancy trying something new, everyone is welcome.
Sometimes the smallest moments, sharing a chat, making something together, or simply being around other people, can make a big difference.
